- For installation of a furnace, air conditioner, heat pump or other major HVAC system, they will plan to perform a heating or cooling load (depending on the system) calculation, so they can accurately determine what size system is needed to provide comfort and efficiency in your home. Systems that are too small or too big will fall short when it comes to comfort and cost of operation.
- At the end of their visit, good HVAC technicians will clearly outline the work they plan to do, providing specific information on timing and cost.
